2008 Betfair Million at Haydock Park Betting Tips

The 2008 Betfair Million gets a make-over this year as the format has been tweaked somewhat going into the November 22 race at Haydock Park racecourse. The late Ted Rogers provided the inspiration as his 3-2-1 format will be adopted for the seven-figure bonus prize.
The 2006-7 winner Kauto Star swept aside the competition and earned a massive payday for his owner Clive Smith, trainer Paul Nicholls, jockey Ruby Walsh and the rest of the stable staff from Ditcheat. They were on the verge of another Betfair million when they were undone by stablemate Denman at Cheltenham this past March.
If a horse finishes first, second or third in the Betfair Chase and then places first or second in ANY Cheltenham Festival race in March and then follows that up with Winning the Grand National at Aintree in April they will be set to cash in one of English horseracing's biggest paydays.
An impressive prize pool is set to be distributed following this race with £700,000 to the winning owner, £100,000 to the winning trainer, £100,000 to the winning jockey and £100,000 to the winning stable staff.
