2009 BARCLAY'S AT LIBERTY NATIONAL BETTING TIPS

The Barclay's has finally begun at Liberty National and we see that Tiger Woods looks in the process of putting together a good first day score. He is just outside the top 10, in his preferred stalking position for the first day or two. Don't want to get ahead too quickly now do you Tiger? Stan James lists Tiger Woods as the massive 2.5 favourite to win the 2009 Barclay's Classic. Paul Goydos is the current co-leader on thru 16. He is available at 26.00 but I'm not sure if he'll be able to cling to this lead with so much quality just behind him. Robert Allenby (26.0) is in the hunt as is Justin Leonard (34.0), Steve Marino (17.0) is very competitive, Mark Calcavecchia (81.0), Fredrik Jacobson (34.0) and Davis Love III (51.0) are all in the top 10. Tiger Woods is currently in a five way tie for 9th place. Other notables include Jim Furyk and Ian Poulter at 56.0, Hunter Mahan at 41.0, Sergio Garcia at 34.0, Padraig Harrington at 19.0, Phil Mickelson at 26.0, Mike Weir at 81.0, Y.E Yang at 101.0, and Stewart Cink at 126.0. You'll find an excellent cross-section of 3 ball betting, including mythical 3 ball pairings that can be extremely profitable if played right. Stanjames also has some interesting tournament match betting going on right now with Padraig Harrington facing off against Sergio Garcia, Steve Ames against mike Weir and Charles Howell against Rory Sabbatini. I think that Tiger will definitely be a major factor in this tournament and is the likely favourite to win it. I think he has probably been going over the last major in his head a number of times and a FedEx Cup win would definitely exercise some of those Y.E Yang demons. I think Tiger is your winner, but take advantage of the each-way betting of 1/4 odds on the top four places and you'll do well. There are some big prices out there and I'm looking at Steve Stricker, Fredrik Jacobson and Davis Robert Allenby to all be in contention on the final day.
