2009 Cheltenham Gold Cup Entries Finalized

The list of 28 final Cheltenham Gold Cup Entries has finally been released. The Paul Nicholls camp has several top runners in this competition with Big Buck's, My Wil, Nozic, Neptune Collonges and Star De Mohaison lining up with heavyweights Kauto Star and Denman to have a go at the coveted title. Could it be three in a row for the Nicholls camp?David Pipe has several entries as well with Arteea and Our Vic entered alongside Milan Deux Mille and Denman's vanquisher last weekend Madison Du Berlais. The race was Denman's first run since recovering from a heart problem and he was effectively beaten by Madison Du Berlais and has subsequently seen his odds lenghthen considerably as Kauto Star becomes the out-and-out bookmakes favourite. Mouse Morris has but one entry in the Gold Cup with War of Attrition expected to put up a real fight. Jonjo O'Neill sees Albertas Run and Exotic Dancer make it through the last cut. Nick Henderson's sole entry is the Queen's Barbers Shop. Nigel Twiston-Davies has a few entries. Knowhere and Imperial Commander are both expected to be in the hunt.
