2009 CHRISTMAS NUMBER ONE SINGLE LATEST ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

Rage Against The Machine’s Killing in the Name of is certainly having an effect on the outcome of the 2009 Christmas Number One single betting in virtually all of the popular UK betting markets. The prices have taken some significant twists and turns and, if the odds are to be believed, Rage Against the Machine has a respectable chance of actually unseating the 2009 X-Factor winner!

On Monday, when we published our first betting update about this popular wagering market, the odds on the X-Factor winner Joe McElderry have started to climb while the price for “any other artist” has crept down from around 4.5 to a still enticing 2.7. This shows that this Rage lark has some legs and the volume in this market has increased exponentially!
I actually expect a million to be matched on this by the weekend’s end and that means that the price on “any other artist” is going to keep dropping, just as we had originally predicted and if you’re looking to get in on this now (and likely make some very easy money) you should go buy Killing in the Name of on iTunes and then head on over to , plunk down the £20 to open an account and toss £5 on Rage to win. You’ll be looking at a return of around £13.60. In fact, even as we’re writing this article the odds have ticked up to 2.74 on “any other artist” this market is that volatile!

Confirmation that it is Killing in the Name that has altered the betting markets so much is confirmed by a quick glance at the Winner w/o X Factor Winner market at Betfair. You’ll see that Rage’s track is a miniscule 1.03 in the odds. That means if you bet £100 you’d only be walking away with £103 after your payout- a profit of £3. The closest competitor is Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance which is trading at 17.5. That shows the gulf here and just how much Rage have altered the complexion of this year’s contest. The volume on this market is much smaller and I don’t see a significant amount of movement.
