2009 DAVID NICHOLSON MARES HURDLE BETTING TIPS

If you're planning on wagering on the David Nicholson Mares Hurdle on the opening day of the 2009 Cheltenham Festival, you'll find a better price on Whiteoak at Betfair with odds currently sitting at 4.7 contrasted with the 5/2's you'll find pretty much everywhere else. There are some extremely enticing odds on this race and many punters consider it one of the most wide open races at the entire 2009 Cheltenham Festival. BETFAIR is our recommended place to go for Cheltenham Bets! United is the pick of the crop for me with this German Mare having won the Warfield Mares Hurdle at Ascot in mid-January. United earned every bit of that victory tracking the leaders for the full race and then making a move during the final two hurdles. I like United and I think that her other previous victory, a win at Haydock in late December is further proof that United can come from behind at any point to secure a victory. If the leaders aren't looking particularly strong, I am confident that United can pip them in the final two or three hurdles. Quevega won the Festival Hurdle at Punchestown just a few weeks ago and has had Ruby Walsh on board for her last two victories. I feel as though 5.00 is slightly underpriced, but this is a young horse with lots to prove and if Ruby Walsh is on top then things could be very interesting during the final third. Chomba Womba is one of the winningest horses during this year's jumps season and looks a solid bet for a show. Consider her for all of your tri-cast bets.
