2009 EUROVISION TOP TEN BETTING TIPS

Betfair has a number of extremely interesting and, at this point, relatively volatile markets. Amongst the most interesting is the Top 10 market which is being dominated by several top contenders at the moment. If you're not looking to place a bet based on patriotism and are looking for some decent value, I suggest you avoid Norway, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Serbia. They are all locks to finish within the top ten with odds listed between 1.04 and 1.06. Nothing doing there. The United Kingdom is listed at 1.53, which is really strong especially when taken in tandem with their excellent position in the finals. While they are still far from evens, I consider them an absolute banker to finish within the top ten and if you're looking for a good ratio of price/earnings, the UK is smart money. Russia (1.31), Turkey (1.26) and Malta (1.41) are all solid odds, but I don't really see any value there. Montenergo at 2.5 is enticing and Spain also boasts stellar position and are available at a very solid 3.0. Ireland at 1.81 is a bit dicey and some might be tempted, but once they get up to even money, I'll talk. The money is still settling down in this market and a lot of the countries are only available at shorter odds than they should be. The countries I've indicated here are generally decent money, but there are many that should be avoided. The general rule is to avoid anything under 1.5 at this point. You never know what might happen.
