2009 US OPEN FINAL LIVE BETTING TIPS - ROGER FEDERER VS JUAN MARTIN DEL POTRO
Betfred is offering up live betting on the match between Federer and Del Potro that will ultimately decide the 2009 US Open Men's Title. Live betting goes very well with tennis and you'll find that you can either make lots of money quickly or lose it very quickly if you're betting ball by ball. It's an intriguing way to bet, but in-play wagering can really make the difference on a tennis match. Currently, we're seeing Federer floating around 1/8 or 1/7 for the outright win, which is considerably shorter than his 2/7 odds when he started. Currently, Del Potro has drifted up to 5/1 and that doesn't speak well for the confidence that the bookies have in the player. The in-play handicap wagering sits at -6.5 sets for Federer. For the 2nd set betting, BetFred have listed Roger Federer as the 2/5 favourite with Del Potro listed at just under 2/1 (15/8) to win the second set and make this a real contest. If you're going to back Del Potro to win the 2nd set, then make sure you back him at +6.5, but because if he manages to win the 2nd set, there is pretty much no way he'll lose more than 7. When Federer is serving, he is generally 1/10 to win that particular game. Del Potro is 11/2 to break his serve and you can usually count on Federer's serve getting broken at least 2 or 3 times per match. Timing here is key, but I think you can still make plenty of money on Del Potro, even with a losing effort.
