2009 X FACTOR BETTING ODDS HAVE DANYL JOHNSON AS THE FAVOURITE
We've just had the kick off to the latest season of X Factor and we already have some very interesting betting odds coming from William Hill. As it currently stands, Danyl Johnson is the big favourite to be named the outright winner with a 3/1 price. Jamie Archer is the clear second favourite at the moment and is listed at an 11/2 price. Stacey Soloman and Lucie Jones both share a 7/1 listing, while Jade Fubara can be backed at 8/1. The odds then take a bit of a jump to Joseph McElderry at 10/1. Rozelle Phillip and Miss Fitz are both available at 14/1. Lloyd Daniels is listed at 16/1 and then the odds take a very significant jump to 33/1 for Duane Lamonte. Daryl Markham can be backed at 40/1 while Roy Robson, Daniel Williams and Ashanti Webbe are all 50/1 longshots. John & Edward, Katy Bullock and Michael Hough are also listed at 66/1. More contestants will be added after the weekend shows. Additionally, you can also back which manager will win the show this time around. Predictably, Simon Cowell is a relatively heavy favourite at 15/8 with Cheryl Cole sitting at 5/2. Dannii Minogue is at 11/4 while Louis Walsh sits at 7/2. There's definitely plenty of money to be made on this year's season and until the competition starts properly, I think a lot of these odds will remain slightly liquid. The key at this point is to take contenders that will blossom further into the competition than ones who are attracting all the attention right now. From my perspective, anybody listed at under 14/1 has a good shot at this.
