2010 BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX F1 BETTING ODDS SHOW SEBASTIAN VETTEL NOW THE FAVOURITE
It's been a very interesting qualifying day for the 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix with Sebastian Vettel storming to the pole position after posting some very quality numbers in his session. Top UK bookmaker William Hill now lists the Red Bull driver as the solid favourite to win, after besting Felipe Massa by 0.141.
Sebastian Vettel's odds to win the 2010 Bahrain GP trade at a slim 7/4 margin with Fernando Alonso now clear second favourite at 5/2. Felipe Massa is still a solid contender at 4/1 while Lewis Hamilton's price has sank like a stone to 8/1. Hamilton was listed as a 3/1 co-favourite yesterday.
Nico Rosberg has seen a solid price drop to 14/1 and is now a decent shout for a podium finish. Legendary driver Michael Schumacher has lengthened in price to 16/1 for the victory here. Jenson Button's odds are 33/1 and he looks like it will take a minor miracle for the victory here.
The podium odds for the 2010 Bahrain GP show Vettel, Alonso and Massa all listed at odds-on prices to finish top 3, while Lewis Hamilton is listed at 6/4 and is still considered a strong contender. Michael Schumacher is 4/1 to finish in the top 3.
Interesingly enough, Ferrari remains the favourite to take the Winning Constructor market with an even money price. Red Bull trades at 7/4 while McLaren is available at 6/1. You'd be better off just backing Hamilton to win in lieu of opting for McLaren.
The over/under for winning margin is 6.500 seconds with a price of 5/6 going in each direction. I think the under is probably the favoured outcome here, as this one is fairly tight between the top 3. I don't see anyone running away with this one.
