2010 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LATEST ODDS AND BETTING TIPS
We’ve got more Champions League action unfolding this week and the competition is getting increasingly fierce in terms of who is the outright favourite to win the tournament. In terms of the outright betting odds, Joseph Guardiola’s Barcelona side are the 3/1 favourites with top UK bookmaker William Hill. Chelsea remain very hot contenders with a solid 9/2 price.
After a scintillating display against AC Milan last week, Manchester United are now trading at an 11/2 price to win this year’s Champions League tournament. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid side share that 11/2 price and, with the right set of results, could be considered real contenders.
Arsenal are listed at 10/1 while Bayern Munich are still in the running at an 11/1 price tag. Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan trade at 14/1, but I expect their odds to shorten if they can get past Chelsea. Sevilla arealso in contention at 16/1.
Lyon and Bordeaux are both available at 25/1 while AC Milan are at a lengthy 33/1- they will need a big result at Old Trafford to keep their campaign alive. Former champions Porto are listed at 40/1 while Italian side Fiorentina can be backed at 66/1. Olympiacos can be backed at 100/1 while Stuttgart trade at 125/1. CSKA Moscow are trading at a lengthy 150/1.
For Tuesdays Champions League fixtures, we have an underwhelming tie between Bordeaux and Olympiacos with the visiting French side just given the edge at 6/4. The Greeks trade at 2/1 while the draw is listed at an identical price.
Barcelona travel to Stuttgart for their fixture and you’ll find them at an odds-on price of 4/6 to get the big victory. The draw is a tempting 5/2 while the Germans trade at 9/2.
Wednesday’s action sees Sevilla facing a tricky away tie to CSKA Moscow with the Spanish side just given the edge at 6/4 against Moscow’s 9/5 listing. The draw may be a real option there and you’ll find it at 11/5.
The big clash this week is Inter Milan vs Chelsea, which sees the Blues come up against former manager Jose Mourinho. The Blues are listed at 15/8 against the Italian side’s 8/5. The draw pays 2/1 and all I can say about this one is that it’s likely going to be one of the highlights of the tournament.
There’s a lot at stake here, and expect those outright odds to shuffle around a bit if we see any odd results.
