2010 CHELTENHAM DAY THREE PREVIEW AND LATEST BETTING TIPS PART TWO

One of the prides of Paul Nicholls entire yard is set to run tomorrow in the World Hurdle and he will be seeing heavy betting volume as the punters look to pile on to another one of the Cheltenham bankers. The first two supposed bankers Dunguib and Master Minded both disappointed in their runs and it has really shifted the pressure onto the likes of Big Bucks and Kauto Star.

Big Bucks is the festivals biggest banker with a price of about 4/7- a price I expect to shorten as we get closer to the off tomorrow. You can't argue with Big Bucks record this year and he looks capable of beating anyone in the field. His biggest challenge will likely be Tidal Bay or Karabak who both trade around 7/1, but I would keep my eyes on the talented veteran War of Attrition who is definitely worth an each-way shot at 33/1. Stay tuned to Betting Choice for an in-depth feature on the 2010 World Hurdle.
The 2010 Byrne Group Plate looks a tough one but I'm going with Sunnyhillboy and one of my personal favourites Atouchbetweenacara, who hasn't exactly had the best year but has shown plenty of acumen over course and distance in the past. I think Miss Venetia Williams 9 year-old gelding has every chance here and could be a late running threat. Sunnyhillboy has performed well with AP McCoy in the past and I think he has shown acumen racing against a field of this calibre. You'll find Sunnyhillboy at 8/1 and Atouchbetweenacara at an enticing 16/1.
In the 2010 Kim Muir Challenge Cup, we have another wide open field with some under-rated contenders set to face off. I like Ferdy Murphy's Galant Nuit, who scored at Cheltenham his last time out back in November. I'm up in the air about the length of the lay-off and if he comes back sharpish will be a real contender. He trades around 10/1 which is good value in this field. Ballabrigs and Shillingstone are the co-favourites arond 7/1-8/1 but neither of them really blow my hair back. I'm keeping my eye on Buck the Legend, who has a very solid record and commands an enticing 20/1 price tag. Nigel Twiston-Davies 8 year-old looks the definition of an improver and could strike against a very open field.
