2010 CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL DAY FOUR TOP TIPS PART TWO

We've been covering the 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup race extensively here so you can check out our individual articles about that if you'd like, but it's really no surprise that we're looking to back Kauto Star fairly heavily here and we also think Paul Nicholls' yard is set for the sweep with Kauto, Denman and Tricky Trickster all set to come in top 3. I'd take Imperial Commander as the 4th on there as he has shown the ability to keep up with Kauto but his long season may work against him here.

I think Tricky Trickster or Denman are the only ones who can possibly match Kauto on their best days, but we are seeing Cooldine trending up ever so slightly from 10/1 to 12/1 so he may be tempting some punters with that price. There aren't many huge discrepancies between the bookmakers price and the tote values. Kauto all the way here.
In the 2010 Foxhunters Chase, I've got my eye on 7/1 course-and-distance winner Trustfund who is a real veteran of these types of races. He's got great form and looks set to challenge an open field. Another solid form horse is Sericina who trades at 10/1, but he's not got the value you'll find on Southwestern, who is listed at 25/1 and could be a real improver here. Roulez Cool is the 11/4 favourite, but I'm not really wetting my pants with excitement over him so I will stick to the longer odds selections. 25/1 On The Net has just had a price cut from 33/1 and could be one to watch.
The 2010 Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle could be dominated by Nicky Henderson's Peveril who has three on the bounce this year and a solid 7/1 price. Ashkazar, for David Pipe, takes a step down in class here and he is getting some respect from the punters at 6/1. 20/1 On Borrowed Wings has not finished outside the top 2 all year and is more than worth a shot at the price.
The 2010 Grand Annual is a tough puzzle to solve, but I've got my eyes on 12/1 Fighting Chance who has dropped from 16/1 as well as 8/1 Oiseau De Nuit who has course and distance victories here. Ruby Walsh saddles Free World and may be looking to end this festival off with a real bang at 7/1.
