2010 DUBAI DESERT CLASSIC OUTRIGHT BETTING TIPS

We’ve got some really solid golf action teeing off the desert this week for the 2010 Dubai Desert Classic at the Majilis course, Emirates Golf Club. The betting favourite is upstart young-gun Rory McIlroy who is trading at a very slim price of 11/4 to win the outright market. Charl Schwartzel is considered a slim second place favourite with a 9/1 listing- a few steps back from the young Norn Irishman.
There is a pack about 10-strong that look the likely challengers here. Paul Casey trades at 10/1 ahead of Robert Karlsson, Martin Kaymer and Alvaro Quiros who are all available at 12/1 prices. Lee Westwood is a solid shot at 14/1 while Ross Fisher and Alexander Noren trade at 16/1.
You’ll find Anders Hansen alongside Edoardo Molinari and Jeev Mikha Singh who carry a 20/1 price. Richard Green stands alone at 28/1 while Soren Hensen and Miguel Angel Jimenez look well-priced at 33/1 – that’s a good bet on Jimenez I think. Darren Clarke and Francesco Milinari can be backed at a 40/1 price.
William Hill is offering up each-way betting as well if you’re looking to maximize the value on those longer-odds selections. You’re looking at 1/4 odds on the top 4 places. There’s other markets available, including Winning Nationality which prices a GB or Irish winner at 11/10 while a European winner pays out at 11/8. A winner from anywhere else in the world garners a 7/2 price.
Top European player odds are available and you’ll find Martin Kaymer as a solid 7/2 favourite. Henrik Stenson and Robert Karlsson share an 11/2 price. Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel share a 4/1 listing as top rest of the world player. Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood look set to duel for top Great Britain and Irish player. Paul Casey and Ross Fisher are competitive at 7/1.
Stay tuned to William Hill for 2 and 3 ball betting and live odds unfolding throughout every day of the event!
