2010 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP OF DARTS ODDS AND BETTING TIPS
We’re underway in the 2010 European Darts Championship with a full slate of fixtures already underway. We’ll be giving you a run-down on the odds for today’s fixtures and our exclusive accumulator selection.
William Hill is a great site for darts betting and, while there is only outright betting pre-match, you’ll be able to lock in up to 6 different in-play markets on the 2010 European Championships.
At 20:00 we’ve got Terry Jenkins vs Andree Welge and, unsurprisingly, Jenkins is odds-on to win the match at a 1/3 price tag while Welge can be backed at a 9/4 listing.
Simon Whitlock vs Dennis Priestly is going to be a very interesting affair and you can back Whitlock as the slim 2/9 favourite ahead of 3/1 Priestly. I think Whitlock and Jenkins are first-rate selections for your accumulator bets.
Gary Anderson takes on Jamie Caven and the bookmakers are giving this one to Anderson, pricing him at 2/5. You can lock in a 7/4 price on Jamie Caven and I think he’s one of the better longshot selections today.
Phil Taylor vs Co Stompe is going to be the feature match of the evening and it begins at 21:30 UK Time. Taylor is, as usual, short-priced at 1/12 while Co Stompe can be backed at a 6/1 price tag. I don’t see Taylor going out this early and it’s bad luck on Stompe that he had to face him at this point.
Jelle Klaasen vs Vincent van der Voort is considered to be the closest match of the evening with Klaasen just getting the edge at an 8/11 price while van der Voort can be backed at even money. If you’re playing a parlay ticket this is one to avoid.
Finally, Mervyn King vs Barrie Bates should be a solid fixture and Bates has been performing rather well as of late and I wouldn’t fault you if you tucked into his 7/4 price. King is trading at 2/5.
You can back all the big favourites and still get a decent payout on a fivefold. Jenkins x Whitlock x Anderson x Taylor x King is trading at a 2.46 price. Personally, I think Bates might get the result over King so Jenkins x Whitlock x Anderson x Taylor x Bates is a much tidier 5.79 price.
