2010 EUROVISION FIRST SEMI FINAL QUALIFICATION ODDS FROM WILLIAM HILL
There are several other betting markets on tonight’s contest and one of the most open and exciting is the qualification market for the first semi final. You can take the “yes” or “no” option on every country in tonight’s competition.
As we discussed in a previous article Belgium, Slovakia and Greece are the current outright favourites in tonight’s leg of the competition. You won’t get much value backing them to qualify so you will probably want to focus your money on the countries that are on the bubble for qualification- as that’s where the best odds can be consistently found.
Albania are favoured to progress and they boast a 1/12 price to do so. Should Albania not go through to the final you will be getting paid out at 6/1. Belarus look like they can pull it off but they can’t be quite as confident as some other nations. They are at 1/2 to progress and 6/4 to not progress.
Belgium are very short-priced at 1/40 to go through and 11/1 not to. Bosnia & Herzegovina are at 8/13 to go through to the final and 6/5 to not make it out of the semi final. Estonia are not favoured and are 1/2 to be left out and 6/4 to progress. Macedonia also have their work cut out with a 4/1 price to go through and 1/7 to make it no further than the semi finals. Finland are right on the bubble and are 11/10 to go through and 4/6 to make it no further.
Greece are at 1/33 to go through, virtually assured to do so, and they are priced at 10/1 to miss out on the final. Iceland are favoured to progress with a 2/9 price giving plenty of confidence. They are 3/1 to not go through. Latvia are 13/8 to progress and 4/9 to not make the final. Malta are right on the bubble with a 10/11 price to progress and 4/5 not to. Moldova are favoured with a 4/11 yes price and a 2/1 no price.
Poland have their work cut out with a 7/2 price and a 1/6 listing to not progress. Portugal are 13/8 to go through and 4/9 to not make it out of the semi finals. Russia are 4/6 to go through and 11/10 to not make it. Serbia are solid at 1/16 to progress and 7/1 to stau put. Slovakia are also well-priced at 2/7 to go through and 5/2 not to.
