2010 FA CUP LATEST OUTRIGHT BETTING TIPS
Now that we’re all set for the 2010 FA Cup Fifth Round, we’re going to bring you the latest odds on every team remaining in the competition. There have definitely been some price fluctuations over the past few days and it looks like we may be heading for a Premiership final four.
Chelsea are priced at 6/4 to win the 2010 FA Cup while Manchester City continue to nip at their heels with a 7/2 listing. Tottenham Hotspur have dropped from 7/1 yesterday and now trade at a slim 9/2 – Harry Redknapp’s boys look solid contenders for the trophy, especially if you’re looking for an outside bet. High-flying Aston Villa garner an 11/2 payout and they are set to contest the League Cup final with Manchester United in a few weeks- surely a cup double would bring plenty of joy to fans in the second city.
Speaking of the second city, Birmingham are solidly-priced at 12/1 (an identical price to Fulham). I think Alex McLeish’s side are the upstart contenders here and they have a battling attitude to them this season- buoyed by their above-average performance in the English Premier League. They have shown more than once that they can match wits with the best on their day.
The gulf between these teams and the rest of the pack are considerable. You’ll find Bolton and West Brom at 33/1, Portsmouth and Stoke at 40/1, Reading trade at 66/1 while Crystal Palace are still in this and priced at 100/1. Cardiff and Southampton can be backed at 125/1 while Notts County and Derby trade at 200/1.
Remember that you can get each way odds of 1/2 on the top two finishers in the FA Cup. Birmingham will be rewarding at 6/1 to make the final.
