2010 MASTERS GOLF ODDS LIST TIGER WOODS AS CLEAR FAVOURITE

It looks like Tiger Woods is set for a return at the 2010 US Masters at Augusta National golf course after his lengthy hiatus from golf. Rumours have been circulating about when Tiger would get the clubs back in hand and start being that Tiger that we all love once again. If the betting markets are anything to go by, Tiger Woods will be back by late March.
Currently, William Hill has listed Tiger Woods at 5/2 to win the 2010 US Masters. That’s a solid price and Woods is generally a big favourite for virtually every tournament he plays in. Augusta National has been the scene of many of Tiger’s greatest triumphs and most exciting moments and I can’t think of a better time or place for him to make his overdue return.
Phil Mickelson is a clear second favourite and you’ll find him trading at an 11/2 margin- solid odds for lefty. Padraig Harrington is a very solid shot at 14/1 while Geoff Ogilvy is another quality contender at 16/1. That puts him on an identical price with Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood.
The odds then take another big jump to 25/1 for Jim Furyk who trades alongside Retief Goosen, Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson and Ross Fisher. You’ll find a slew of golfers priced at 33/1 including Anthony Kim, Ernie Els, Paul Casey, Camilo Villegas, Steve Stricker, Hunter Mahan and Adam Scott.
In the 40/1 window, we have Sean O’Hair, Angel Cabrera, Zach Johnson, Robert Allenby and Martin Kaymer. 50/1 sees Kenny Perry, Nick Watney, Vijay Singh, Justin Rose, Ian Poulter and Robert Karlsson all sharing the same listing.
Other notables include Mike Weir at 66/1, KJ Choi and Y.E. Yang at 100/1, Boo Weekley at 125/1, Fred Couples at 150/1, David Duval at 200/1 and Mark O’Meara at 300/1. Somebody really doesn’t like Raymond Floyd as he is the only one listed at 500/1.
