2010 PDC WORLD DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

We are down to the final four of the 2010 PDC World Darts Championship and we've got a few familiar faces here set to contest the penultimate 3 matches to determine the top tungsten tosser on the face of the planet. We've been without any concrete outright winner odds for quite some time now and, unsurprisingly, we've got Phil "The Power" Taylor listed at a very slim 1/6 to win the tournament outright!
Simon Whitlock is the 2nd place competitor and he's trading at around 6/1. Raymond van Barneveld is listed at 9/1 for the win while Mark Webster is the outside candidate at a 40/1 margin.
In terms of today's match betting, the match-up between Barney and Simon Whitlock looks to have very little between the two players with Whitlock considered the slim favourite with a 4/6 listing. Van Barneveld carries an 11/10 price tag to win.
You can see just how close the bookies think this one is going to be once you examine the correct score betting between the two. Barney to win 6-4 or 6-5 pays out at 6/1 while Whitlcok 6-4 or 6-5 pays 5/1. They think this one is going to be close and it looks like a much more open contest than the other fixture we have on hand.
Phil Taylor is a miniscule 1/33 to go through to the final and this comes on the back of a 5-0 drubbing of Adrian Lewis yesterday. Clearly in form, Taylor is favoured to blow-out Webster 6-0 and his 7/4 listing for that margin tells no lies. Should Taylor win 6-1 you're looking at a 9/4 payout. For a bit of perspective, Webster to win in a 6-5 thriller pays a massive 28/1.
I fancy a van Barneveld/Taylor showdown again and while there isn't much value on Taylor to win, I do think he will drop at least one point to Webster and I find the 6-2 listing of 7/2 quite attractive. I'll take Barney 6-4.
