2010 SIX NATIONS RUGBY BETTING ODDS

The latest odds have been released for the 2010 edition of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament and it looks to be a fairly tough competition this year with France and Ireland almost neck and neck in terms of price. Top UK bookmaker William Hill has listed the French side, featuring superstar Sebastian Chabal, as the 13/8 favourites to win the Six Nations. The Irish side, led by Brian O’Driscoll once again, will be looking for another unbeaten year and Hills are expressing confidence with their 5/2 listing on the Irish.
You’ll find Wales and England both trading at 4/1, definitely still in the competition but they will need to start strong and finish strong to have any chance of actually winning the tournament. Scotland are looking to make a statement this year but are considered to be fairly long odds to win anything this time out. William Hill lists Scotland at 16/1 to win the 2010 Six Nations. Italy, perennial also-rans, are trading at 150/1 and the thing is, they always wind up putting in a few good performances, they just lack consistency and resilience.
William Hill’s betting markets on the 2010 Six Nations aren’t just restricted to outright odds, they’ve also got some very competitive prices for the Grand Slam. Obviously, nobody to win the Grand Slam is the betting favourite at 8/13 but the French and Irish both look in with a shout, priced at 4/1 and 6/1, respectively. Wales and England are 12/1 while Scotland and Italy are at 50/1 and 500/1.
The Triple Crown Winner is favoured to be Ireland at 13/8. No Winner trades at 9/5 while England are priced at 4/1. Wales are available at 6/1 while Scotland trade at a lengthy 20/1 price.
The wooden spoon for the 2010 Six Nations looks to be Italy at a 4/9 listing with Scotland nipping at their heels with a 5/2 price. England are 14/1 while Wales trade at 20/1. Ireland and France are available at 50/1 and 80/1, respectively.
