2010 WINTER OLYMPICS FIGURE SKATING ODDS SHOW KIM YU NA AS BIG FAVOURITE

It’s been a supremely difficult few days for Canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette, whose mother passed away of a heart attack shortly after arriving in Vancouver. The brave Rochette vowed to compete anyway and popular UK bookmaker Ladbrokes has placed her in medal contention for tonight’s showdown in Women’s Figure Skating.
The Women’s Figure Skating Short Program kicks off today at 4:30 pm Pacific Time and Canadians will find Joannie Rochette available at an 8.0 price to bring home a hugely symbolic gold medal.

Kim Yu Na is considered the very heavy favourite and it will take a seriously solid performance to unseat the much-vaunted Korean. Yu Na Kim trades at 1.4 with a large gap in between her and her nearest competitor Mao Asada.
You’ll find Miki Ando at a 9.0 price and these four are considered to be the medal favourites as the odds take a very big jump after Ando to the 21.0 price listed for Laura Lepisto and Carolina Kostnerita.
Akiko Suzuki can be backed at a 34.0 price tag with high-profile American skater Rachael Flatt looking to make a big impression at the exact same price. She has done well in the past and I think that if she can bring out a new personal best today, then she may very well be in contention for this one. Elena Gedevanishvili is also listed at 34.0. Alena Leonova and Alissa Czisny are both trading at 41.0 prices while the popular Nordic skater Kiira Korpi is a lengthy 51.0 to bring home the gold medal.
Julia Sebestyen and Mirai Nagasu bring up the rear at 67.0. Keep in mind that there is each-way betting available on this one with 1/3 odds available on the top 2 places.
