2010 WINTER OLYMPICS GERMANY LATEST BETTING TIPS

Germany have a great chance to get a serious round-up of medals in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. After having a look at all of the quality odds posted at BWIN for the 2010 Winter Olympics, the Germans look to be set to dominate the sliding sports among many others. Most Olympic betting pundits don’t consider the Germans a major factor in the Olympic Centrepiece (hockey) but they will likely be able to round up a decent total of Gold Medals.
I think Germany are in good position for the Luge Doubles, they are 1.75 for the German team to win ahead of Austria at 3.4 and Italy at 4.0. Any other nationality pays out at 29.0.

The first big bet that jumps out at me is a multiplier on Germany to dominate the sliding sports. The Germans are in pole position to dominate the 2010 Olympic Bobsleigh for both the men’s and women’s markets. They are also quite strong on luge and they boast very solid prices across the board. The longest shot in my accumulator for Germany, in my opinion, is David Moeller to win the Men’s Singles Luge at 4.5.
Combine that selection with Tatjana Hufner to win Women’s Luge Singles, Florschuetz/Wustlich to win Luge Doubles, Andre Lange to win the Men’s Two-Man Bobsleigh, Cathleen Martini to win the Women’s Bobsleigh and Andre Lange to captain the Germans to victory in the Four-Man Bobsleigh. So, if we take Moeller x Hufner x Florschuetz/Wustlich x Lange x Martini x Lange you’re looking a massive 99.9 payout at BWIN- that’s 100/1 odds on the Germans to win these six events. You can drop the long-shot of Moeller in the Men’s Singles Luge and you’re looking at 22.2 for your five-fold.
Germany’s Men’s Hockey team are a massive 201.0 to win Men’s Olympic Hockey. They are in their group with Sweden, Finland and Belarus (the most open group) and should they win the group- they’re looking at a hefty 51.0 payout.
The Germans are also heavily-favoured in the Women’s Biathlon 7.5 km Sprint. Magdalena Neuner trades at a very-solid 2.5 listing with her closest competitor Anna Carin Olofsson-Zidek of Sweden listed at 7.0. Andrea Henkel is the 4th favourite at 8.0 while Simone Hauswald trades at 13.0 ahead of Kati Wilhelm at 17.0. The 4 Germans entered in this competition are all in the top 6 contenders. That tells you something. A German sweep of this event could be a very realistic possibility.
It’s a different story in the Men’s Biathlon 10 km Sprint. The best-priced Germans include Michael Greis at 19.0 and Arnd Peiffer at 21.0. Christoph Stephan is listed at 67.0 while Andreas Birnbacher is sitting at 101.0.
The Germans don’t look competitive for the Men’s Ski Jumping with their best-priced contenders being Martin Schmitt at 101.0 and Michael Uhrmann at 101.0. Pascal Bodmer trades at 101.0. Michael Neumayer is listed at 126.0.
Looking at the Alpine skiing odds, Germany aren’t really fancied, but could get to the podium a few times if results go their way. Austria are favoured to dominate Alpine Skiing at 2.75 to get the most Alpine Skiing Medals. The USA trades at 4.0 while Switzerland can be backed at 4.4. Canada trades at 7.5 ahead of the Germans at 12.0.
In the 2010 Olympics Women’s Skeleton Betting Market, we have Marion Trott as the 3.0 favourite ahead of Kerstin Szymkowiak at 4.25. In the Men’s Skeleton, the Canadians are fairly strong favourites but Frank Rommel trades at 8.0 while Michi Halilovic can be backed at 15.0.
Germany are not fancied for a medal in Curling, with their odds being 17.0 to win the women’s event with the men listed at the same price to win Men’s Curling at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
2010 WINTER OLYMPICS GERMANY BEST BETS
Your best bets as a German are to back your country to dominate the sliding sports. Luge, Bobsleigh and Skeleton are all strong sports, in both men’s and women’s divisions. Women’s biathlon looks to be going in the direction of Germany. They are also in with a shout for the Alpine skiing, but I suspect that most of your profits will come from the sliding sports.
