After Canada got things off to a rollicking start yesterday we've got another lopsided hockey match set to unfold on the ice at UBC Thunderbird Arena. Now, let's get into some real money-making here, I'm all over the United States to cover the spread- I think after Canada putting up such a big tally yesterday the USA will be looking to make a statement as well. With the spread set at (-8.5) to the United States, I'm confident that they'll be able to get over that. You'll find them at 4/6 to cover and that's a significantly better price than 1/1000, from a value perspective. 
If you think China can keep it somewhat close and only lose by 8 goals or less, then you can get better than evens on China, who carry an 11/10 price. The total match goals is listed at 17/20 for an over/under of 10.5 goals. I think it's a solid selection to go for the over there. 
Of course the Chinese could come out and wind up being really good... Who knows, that's one of the exciting parts about Olympic betting. The United States are the second favourite and only other real competitor for the Gold Medal aside from Canada. I think the United States should be able to run away with this one if they play to their potential. If you're looking to bet against the USA for whatever reason, China to beat the spread is a decent enough price and they just might be able to do it if the USA has an off-day.
