2010 WORLD CUP QUARTER FINALS ACCUMULATOR BETTING ODDS AND SELECTIONS

We've got four absolutely first-rate clashes set to kick off for Friday and Saturday's action at the 2010 World Cup and, while a lot of us are going through football-withdrawal right now, we're able to satiate ourselves by scoping out all the odds and hot bets for the weekends World Cup football.

With some really tantalizing odds available, you can put together some first-rate accumulators if you're feeling especially adventurous.
William Hill has some of the best odds out there on the 2010 World Cup and you can cash in big time if you get this right.
One of the first things you need to ask yourself about your World Cup quarter-final acca, is which type of odds are you looking to multiply? All bookmakers are offering separate odds on the 90 minutes market and outright qualification for the next round. For instance, Spain are listed at a slim 4/9 to beat Paraguay in 90 minutes, but they are an even shorter 1/6 to qualify. The odds are shorter as this bet includes the possibility of extra time and penalties.
Nothing sucks more than when your four-match parlay was correct, but one of the games went to extra-time so your ticket is invalid. You can use the "to qualify" option as insurance against a draw, basically, but your team still must win the match in extra-time for the payout.
Thankfully, you can mix and match between outright qualification and 90 minute winner odds. If you're looking to play it safe, I would suggest backing the "to qualify" option in any matches that you are a little bit unsure of.
I am pushing for Holland to upset Brazil at this stage as I think the price on Holland justifies the gamble. I've got Holland x Uruguay x Germany x Spain all to qualify outright and if they all come through it pays out at 8.29. The same combination of selections on the 90 minutes market pays a much heftier 39.41.
I think that three of these matches could very well go to extra-time, the exception being Paraguay vs Spain. I think that if Paraguay produce another astute defensive performance than they could take this one into extra-time. I have a feeling that Paraguay will try to win that one on penalties, but I just genuinely think that Spain will outclass them.
If you're looking to back just favourites, try Brazil x Uruguay x Argentina x Spain at 12.71 with all prices coming from the 90 minutes market. If there is a match that you're absolutely certain about a team winning without extra-time then by all means back that.
My basic suggestion for this one is to play smaller tickets on the 90 minutes market accumulators but make the bigger wager on the qualification odds just to give yourself a few more outs.
