2010 X FACTOR LATEST ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

We're just a short time away from the kick-off of another season of X-Factor and virtually all major bookmakers have already released a preliminary slate of odds for this edition. Popular Irish bookie Paddy Power always goes above and beyond the call of duty with their X Factor betting markets and it looks like this year is no exception.
Simon Cowell is the favourite judge to win X Factor with a 13/8 price tag putting him just a shade ahead of Cheryl Cole at 15/8. Dannii Minogue's odds are listed at 7/2 to win while Louis Walsh is trading at a 4/1 price.
The first judge to be eliminated is favoured to be Louis Walsh, as usual, and you can back that selection at a solid price of 13/8. Dannii Minogue trades at 2/1 with Cheryl Cole at 3/1 and Simon Cowell at a 4/1 price.
There is a market available on which category will Louis Walsh mentor and the favoured selection is the older competitors at 7/4 while the groups are at 15/8. Girls and boys each pay out at 7/2, respectively.
Outright bets on the winning category are a solid way to get some value from a long-term selection. The girls are favoured to win this year with a 7/4 listing. That places them solidly ahead of boys at 15/8 and groups at 3/1.
If you expect the X Factor winner to have the 2010 Christmas #1 single, you're looking at a very tidy 1/5 price tag. A live studio finalist to quit of his/her own accord and not return will reward at a solid 4/1. Cheryl Cole to slap Simon Cowell in the face live during the knockout stages is trading at 8/1. Simon Cowell to cry at any point during a live studio performance is available at 10/1. Dannii and Cheryl to have a physical catfight pays out at 33/1 while ITV to scrap the current show before the series finale is a whopping 100/1.
