One of the big stories was Chelsea being able to get the better of Arsenal in a crunch clash that could ultimately be looked back on later on this year as one of the biggest disappointments for Arsene Wenger’s men.
As it currently stands after a big weekend of action and another great result when it matters most - Leicester City continue to stand atop the Premier League and are now three points clear heading into February.
The bookmakers still don’t fancy the Foxes to hang on all the way though since they have them priced anywhere from 8/1 to 16/1 for them to pull off one of the most dramatic iterations of the English Premier League from any time in recent history.
The league leaders are Manchester City once again after they were able to salvage a 2-2 draw with upstarts West Ham after they put together a great performance at Upton Park. You’ll find Cty trading as low as even money to pull off the league victory while Arsenal are now pegged back to a 9/5 margin.
Both City and Arsenal are level on points three points back from Leicester City. Spurs are also in the mix and trade around the same level as Leicester City does and that’s a reflection of just how well Tottenham have actually played so far this year. Manchester United look well and truly out of it with a price of 33/1 all the way up to 50/1 for anybody who thinks Louis Van Gaal’s men have a chance here.
