2018/19 Champions League Betting Update PT 1

There is plenty of action and excitement still to unfold in the 2018/19 Champions League as the Group Stages continue to progress and we have 3 contests left in each of the groupings. There is a lot to like about some of the contests we have scheduled over the next week’s play and a number of the top teams continue to perform to expectations.

A lot of great teams are going to be lining up over the next couple of days and you can bank on some interesting betting odds on the outright winner of the 2018/19 Champions League.

As it currently stands, Manchester City appear to be the outright favourites with the bookmakers floating them at a slim single digit price a good distance shorter than their nearest rivals. Plenty of good teams are in the mix here but you get the feeling that Manchester City deserve a lot of respect and they look likely to break their Champions League this year.

Their closest rivals appear to be FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi and Co. appear to be playing some great stuff in their domestic league and in the Champions League proper.

Juventus are also looming large and they have been tangling with Manchester United in their Champions League group, assisted ably by Cristiano Ronaldo who appears to be moving from strength to strength as the weeks go by and he adjusts to his new club.
