2020 Men's Australian Open Betting Tips PT 1
- By A.J. Ryder on January 21, 2020 21:30 GMTNow that the new year is underway we already have the first major Grand Slam Tournament happening down under as the Australian Open has gotten off to another big bang. There will be a lot of action and excitement unfolding over the next couple of weeks and all of the usual stars are here in the men's division taking a crack at the first major championship of the year.
It probably doesn't come as a big surprise. Current world number one Novak Djokovic is ranking as the outright favourite to lift the trophy once again and the bookmakers appear to be rather confident that he has what it takes to pull off another big win.
As it currently stands the Serbian sensation is available at a very solid 5/4 price tag with most major bookmakers and that represents really good odds right now as they only appear to think that three or four contenders have an outright shot at getting all the way to the final.
Rafael Nadal has a very good record in this tournament and many expect him to make another really big impression in the Australian Open and you'll find him available at a rather enticing 4/1 price tag to lift the trophy at the end of the tournament this time around.
Nadal and Djokovic have had some really impressive matchups here in the past and you can probably expect another one of those this time around if both of them managed to get through the first two rounds of the competition.
