Liverpool are at their most dangerous going forward but they also boast a solid defence and a midfield that can stifle even the best of European sides on their day.
The bookmakers definitely fancy Liverpool to make another big impression next season and they are trading at a best price of around 28/15 to secure their second successive English Premier League. It was obvious to everyone that the league, as opposed to the cups and European competitions, was to be Liverpool’s priority and they were able to bring the trophy back to the Kop End, despite the obvious lack of fans.
Liverpool will likely sign a couple of players over the course of the summer but they have plenty of strength in depth and there are no major departures from the Merseyside club adding to any additional stress over the summer.
