AC MILAN VS MANCHESTER UNITED LAST MINUTE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TIPS

We’re just a short-time away from kick-off in the 1st leg of the Milan vs Manchester United Champions League tie and we’ve got a real barn-burner of a fixture set to go in just a few minutes. Obviously the David Beckham headlines are getting way out of hand, considering he’s only likely to play for about 15 minutes or so. Regardless, I have a feeling that Wayne Rooney is going to be in the headlines here, after spearheading a United masterclass.

United do not boast a very good record against Milan, having failed to score on all four trips to the San Siro when they face Milan. I have a feeling that this Milan side is a bit different from some of the others that United have matched-up against over the years. I think that even though Sir Alex Ferguson is without Cristiano Ronaldo, that the Red Devils should be able to ask the right questions of their Italian hosts.
You’ll find Milan trading at 15/8 with United listed at 13/8 for the outright victory. The draw pays 2/1, and that’s not a bad bet as I feel both teams would be satisfied with that type of result. United are here looking for an away goal- that’s the priority, while a victory puts them in pole position to win the tie.
Should United dominate the fixture and win both halves, you’re looking at a whopping 14/1 price in the double result market.
Marco Borriello, Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato all trade at 6/4 to score anytime and 11/2 to score first or last. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is listed at 2/1 and 7/1 alongside Filippo Inzaghi. David Beckham trades at 10/3 to score anytime and Clarence Seedorf is similarly-priced at a 7/2 margin.
Wayne Rooney is listed at 5/4 to score anytime with a first/last price of 5/1. He is 15/2 to score 2 or more and 33/1 for a hat-trick. Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen are both at 15/8 anytime while Mame Diouf trades at 9/4. Luis Antonio Valencia is listed at 10/3 to score anytime while Nani, who looks to have reinvented himself, trades at 7/2 to score anytime . Park Ji-Sung is listed at 5/1 while Gabriel Obertan and Paul Scholes are trading at 6/1.
A penalty to be awarded in the match is listed at 10/3 and you’re looking at 15/4 should the penalty be awarded and converted while the missed penalty pays 12/1. Both sides sit at 15/2 to come from behind and draw, while a come from behind and win pays 10/1 for United and 11/1 for Milan.
William Hill is also offering up an awesome special promo on this fixture! If you stake £20 on the 90 minutes market, you’ll be given a free £10 in-play correct score bet. This applies to new and existing William Hill customers so get in there and help yourself to some free cash!
