AJAX VS CHELSEA FRIENDLY BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

We've seen a real uptick in the odds for Chelsea in today's big fixture between them and Ajax Amsterdam. Our previous article listed Ladbrokes price on Chelsea for the outright win at a 1.66 listing but they have raised the odds up to a solid 1.9 for Carlo Ancelotti's side to win.

You can back Ajax at a 3.3 price and you'll also find the draw available at identical odds. I think this is likely because Chelsea will be fielding a lot of more up-and-coming players than we originally suspected. The World Cup players certainly won't be on the pitch, but I still expect plenty of firepower from the London side.
The favoured correct score outcome remains a 1-1 draw and it has retained its 6.5 price tag. You'll find that 1-0 or 2-0 to Chelsea is at a 7.0 price while 2-1 trades at 8.0.
I could definitely see Ajax scoring here.
If you think the Amsterdam side are going to pull this off, I reckon it will be by a 2-1 margin and you can back that at a 15.0 listing. A 3-2 victory for Ajax is well-priced at 41.0 while 3-2 to Chelsea is 26.0.
I find that a lot of friendly matches either end as dour 1-0 affairs or turn into goal-fests that end 3-2 or 4-3. Occasionally, you can get the more dominant team to run up a big tally and you always do well backing lopsided victories- Chelsea are 67.0 to win 5-0 or 5-1.
The bookies no longer favour a glut of goals here though with the over/under set at 2.5. The under is now favoured with a 1.76 price while the over is available at 2.08.
A penalty to be awarded and scored at any point is 3.0 and that penalty is 10.0 to be awarded and missed. I think that with nerves jangling a bit this early in the season that penalties are always a possibility.
I think Chelsea should take this one, but it's clear that the bookmakers are losing confidence. If you're an Ajax fan, I wouldn't fault you to bet against the Blues and if you're a neutral, a draw looks a real possibility here.
