ALFRED DUNHILL CLASSIC BETTING TIPS

An extremely large field at the Alfred Dunhill Championship of Golf hasn't kept Lee Westwood from being listed as the outright favourite to take home this year's title. In a tournament relatively devoid of big name players, this one truly could go in a myriad of different directions. Kicking off on the 11 of December at South Africa's Leopard Creek golf course, the tournament is listed as an Order of Merit date for the European tour and also includes a number of players on the Sunshine tour as well. At this point, the outright leader is Lee Westwood (6/1), but a number of punters in the know are pinning their hopes on Rory Sabbatini, who is listed at 12/1 to secure the win. As South Africa's top ranked golf course (which is known to contain its fair share of snakes), Leopard Creek is a challenge for many golfers, especially ones who aren't used to the local conditions. Charl Schwartzel is the second place favourite, listed at 10/1 with Rory Mcilroy just behind him at 14/1. The field deepens significantly after that, with a few dozen players listed for this competition, some as high as 500/1. A number of other betting markets are available and you'll find Lee Westwood heading up the Top European player market as well, listed at 3/1. Johan Edfors leads the Top Scandinavian player market listed at 4/1 with Pelle Edberg just behind at 6/1.
