AMIR KHAN VS ANDRIY KOTELNIK STAN JAMES BETTING TIPS

As it currently stands, Amir Khan's odds are 1.4 to take the outright win with Kotelnik listed at 2.75. The draw is 23.0 and it will take a hell of a gutsy performance from Kotelnik to manage any sort of reverse. As always with boxing, you'll find the real money in the round-by-round betting. It's a little tricky with this one, as the bookmaker is confident that this fight will go the distance, especially if Khan wins. They are listing Amir Khan on points at 1.91 compared to Kotelnik on points at 6.0. In fact, Kotelnik actually commands shorter odds in the round-by-round betting than Amir Khan does. Kotelnik is at 34.0 for a victory in the first 3 rounds (not out of the question when you're fighting Khan) and then it drops to 29.0 in the 4th round. Rounds 5 through 11 are at 26.0 before rising to 29.0 in the 12th. Amir Khan is listed at 34.0 to win in every round but the 12th, where he is priced at just over 40.0. I like those odds on Khan and I think that's a lot of value. It's not often that these fights in this class tend to go the distance and I think after the first few rounds, you'll get an idea of how things are going to wind up. Khan will either sit back the first few or come out swinging early. I think Kotelnik will pour it on in the first two rounds, so he may be worth a bet there. Either way, I'm backing Amir Khan to win in rounds 7-10.
