Amir Khan vs Marco Antonio Barrera Betting Tips

Bookmakers 888sport have predicted that Amir Khan could be facing one of the biggest tests of his entire boxing career as he steps into the ring on the 14th of March to face off against Marco Antonio Barrera. Currently, Khan is listed as the 8/11 favourite, but Barrera is nipping away at his heels listed at evens. As always, the real money to be made here is in the round by round betting and based on the styles exemplified by both of these fighters, I can't see this one going the distance on either side. A KO or TKO will win this fight, mark my words. I was right about Pacquiao and I'm gonna be right about Khan too. If Khan can get to the sixth round and still be looking in good shape, then I think he's a shoe-in for this one. Barrera is a veteran and he's slogged it out with some of the best, but keep in mind that he hasn't really held a belt at Lightweight yet, most of his big victories happened at least two weight classes down. Khan is a big lightweight and I think the speed of punches, as well as the variations he's going to throw at Barrera, will ultimately be what spells victory and will leave Barrera feeling the wrath of Khan. The bookmakers favour a Khan victory by KO, TKO or DQ from rounds 4 to 8 with 20/1 odds. I'm personally liking the ninth and its 25/1 margin. Aside from that, I can see him pulling something off in the 4th round as well. Especially if he gets ahead early, I think Barrera will have to come at him and therefore open himself up and fight the type of fight that Khan wants.
