ANDREI ARSHAVIN TILTS ODDS IN ARSENAL'S FAVOUR FOR TOTTENHAM MATCH

There's going to be a number of eyeballs peeled on the Arsenal-Tottenham match-up this Sunday as people all over Britain are awaiting their first real glimpse of Andrei Arshavin. While Spurs aren't exactly in a rich vein of form or anything, they were considered my many to be a slight favourite over the misfiring Arsenal side. Currently, thanks to Andrey Arshavin, Arsenal lead the odds at an enticing 2.37 contrasted with Spurs 2.6. The draw pays 3.2. There aren't any odds out yet in terms of goalscorers, but you get the feeling that a number of punters will be tipping Arshavin to put his name on the scoresheet. I'd say anywhere north of 8/1 would be good enough for my likings as he's more of a creative player than an out-and-out goalscorer. Sort of what Spurs hoped Luka Modric would be. In terms of correct score betting at Ladbrokes, there isn't much between the two teams. The favoured result is a 1-1 draw which pays 6.5. 2-0 to the Arse pays 9/1 and 2-1 to Spurs pays a mere 10/1. Personally, I'm liking the 2-2 draw listed at 15/1. I think these two teams will come at each other and neither of them are really at their best when they're sitting back. I'm backing a 2-2 draw with a late goal. I also think Spurs will go into the dressing room ahead at half time, but only by a goal. Keep your eye on Van Persie for last goalscorer.
