ANDY MURRAY VS. PAUL HENRI MATHIEU- NEWS, TIPS AND BETTING ODDS

Andy Murray kicks off his campaign to win the 2010 China Open this morning when he takes on French compatriot Paul Henri Mathieu in what many are expecting to be a one-sided affair.
Murray is a perfect 3-0 against Mathieu having won all three encounters on hard courts, including the most recent two in straight sets.
Although somewhat in contrast to Mathieu's No. 107 ranking, this could be a good opportunity for him to finally give Murray a good run.
Mathieu is finally playing with some confidence after being plagued by injuries all of last season.
In his most recent play he did reach the third round of the U.S. Open, as well as taking Richard Gasquet to a third-set tiebreaker in the Metz second round.
Add this to the fact that he has already qualified for the Beijing main draw this week, and one begins to feel that this clash might not be as one sided as the bookies suggest.
On the other end of the spectrum, Murray has not played a match since a surprising third-round loss to Stanislas Wawrinka at this year's U.S. Open.
Another important point to note, after the Scot's shock exit from the US open is that he won his very first tournament after an early loss at last year's U.S. Open to Marin Cilic- food for thought.

With Murray playing the China Open for the very first time, he will be looking to earn crucial points in his bid to qualify for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

For those willing to lay a long shot bet on Mathieu will find both a 2-0, as well as 2-1 win set at 10.5
