ARGENTINA VS NIGERIA WORLD CUP 2010 LATEST BETTING PREDICTIONS

Nigeria face a nearly impossible task according to popular bookmakes Bet365. As Obafemi Martins leads his side out against Lionel Messi and the boys, they will know that nobody expects them to get the vitory- but pulling off a draw is a distinct possibility for a side that will have plenty of support in the stadium.

Argentina are priced at a slim 1.44 to win this match while Nigeria are a hefty 8.5 price. The draw is listed at 4.2 and that's an attractive price, but I wouldn't really suggest backing it until you've watched about 15 minutes of the match.
If Argentina look underwhelming at the start of this then I think Nigeria could possibly pull it off, but if they come out on song they will be supremely difficult to beat.
1-0 or 2-0 to Argentina trades at 6.5 while a 1-1 draw is at 7.5. A 2-1 result pays out at 8.5 while 3-0 to Argentina trades at 3.0. Nigeria to win this one 2-1 pays out at 23.0 while a 3-2 result pays out at a massive 51.0.
Argentina to win both halves ia solid 2.05 and I think if they win it won't really be in danger for much of the match. Some are predicting very big scores for Argentina here, but I have faith in Nigeria's ability to stifle them- especially if they can contain Messi without opening up much space for Carlos Tevez.
Bet365 has one of the best prices online if you're looking to back Messi to score. He's at 1.95 to score anytime and trading at a solid 4.5 to score first or last. Carlos Tevez is likely to start and he's at 2.4 any time and 6.0 first or last. Diego Milito is worth backing and he's at 2.3 anytime. Gonzalo Higuain ran the Champions League final and he trades at 2.4. Sergio Aguero is also listed at 2.3.
Yakubu is priced at 4.5 while Obafemi Martins trades at 4.75. John Utaka can be backed at 6.5 and that's one to keep your eye on.
If Argentina are going to win this, you'll probably know within 15 minutes. I think this is one for the in-play bettors and if Messi doesn't look sharp early on, Nigeria could pull off a dramatic upset.
