Arsenal and Chelsea in Champions League Action
- By A.J. Ryder on November 23, 2011 19:52 GMT
Both London clubs line up as the betting favourites for tonight's Champions League contest but neither of them are listed as the odds-on favourites so there looks to be a substantial amount of work left to do. Victory is by no means guaranteed for both of them and we're really starting to get down to crunch time in the group stages.

Arsenal play host to Borussia Dortmund tonight and they are the even money favourites for the win while the German visitors are priced out at 23/10. The draw, which will probably tempt the neutrals, is priced at 12/5.
Robin Van Persie has been earning all the plaudits this year and he's listed as the 3/1 favourite to open the scoring while Theo Walcott and Gervinho are both trading at 7/1. The Dutchman has been notching nearly every Arsenal goal and certainly most of the important ones.
Those who think Dortmund will score first, try Robert Lewandowski or Shinji Kagawa at 8/1 and 9/1, respectively. Mario Gotze is priced at 10/1.
Chelsea face a much trickier task against German opposition as they travel to Bayer Leverkusen for a must-win fixture. Andre Villas-Boas' men are priced at a 6/5 listing for the outright 90 minutes victory in this one. The hosts are listed at 5/2 while the 11/5 draw doesn't look out of the question.
This is not one of those matches that is destined to finish 0-0 and Chelsea certainly have the quality to trouble Leverkusen going forward.
The forward pairing of Daniel Sturridge and Didier Drogba are both trading at 11/2 while Frank Lampard is sitting at 7/1. Since he returned from injury he's looking quite good and is adding shape to Chelsea's midfield.
Juan Mata is always worth backing and he's at 7/1.
Both English clubs on a double is trading at 4.62.
