Arsenal to sign Ribery?

Reports in the Guardian newspaper state that Arsenal are expected to complete the signing of Franck Ribery by the end of this week for a fee in the region of £13.5m.The France World Cup star has made it known to the Marsielle hierarchy that he intends to leave the club, and the fact that he was axed from the side ahead of their 0-0 draw with Sedan on Sunday suggests that the French side have accepted that his departure is imminent.Ashley Cole has been named in Arsenal's squad for their Champions League tie with Dinamo Zagreb, but if reports are to be believed he will be a Chelsea player by the time of kick off of that game.Cole is expected to sign for Jose Mourinho's side later this week for a fee or around £20m. Jose Antonio Reyes is likely to follow him out of north London, with Real Madrid the most likely destination. The Spaniard has failed to adapt to the lifestyle in the UK and is keen to return to his homeland.Arsene Wenger would like to capture the unsettled William Gallas from Chelsea, but the Frenchman is thought to favour a move to Spain.
