ARSENAL VS BOLTON: ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE: BETTING ODDS AND TIPS

What a week it has been for Arsene Wenger- having lost two world class forwards in the forms of Theo Walcott, as well as Dutch international...and let’s face it Arsenal powerhouse-Robin van Persie, who will be sidelined until at least the middle of October on the back of an ankle injury. Add this to the list of walking wounded such as Samir Nasri, Nicklas Bendtner and Aaron Ramsey after only three games of the league season and most managers would be penning their letters of resignationsHowever, not Wenger as Arsenal are a fantastic outfit that oozes not only class, but most certainly depth. In this regard...Denilson could very well be making his first appearance of the season, with the Arsenal faithful sincerely hoping that he can emulate the form he produced prior to his injury. With Arsenal sitting at second on the log, and Bolton at fifth, both have had decent starts to the season. However, Bolton-and numerous rival North Londoner's- are viewing the current injury list as providing an opportune moment for Bolton to turn one over the Gooners. But in the betting world...statists, form and history are king. William Hill puts Arsenal at, what I consider an entirely underpriced 1.2, with rank outsiders Bolton at 15.0. A draw for this match up will net odds at 6.0.While Arsenal should win this match I struggle to think it would be the walkover that these odds suggest. There are some great opportunities with regards to correct score predictions on both sides. Paddypower sees a 1-0 scoreline in favour of Arsenal at 7.5, with a 2-0 at 6.5. As expected, a 1-0 win the way of Bolton will see a massive return on odds set at 34, with a 2-0 set at a mouth watering 91.0William Hill are setting Arsenal’s opening goalscorer as French Moroccan genius Marouane Chamakh at 4 evens, with a tempting 1.73 for him to score at anytime in the game. Andrei Arshavin is set at 4.5 and 1.91 for the same scenarios. On the Bolton end Ivan Klasnic is backed as the man to find the back of the net for Bolton at 5.0, with an extremely tempting offer of 17.0 for him to score more than once
All in all this game should provide a lot more than it has in the apst. With Arsenal's mid field and strikers having to readjust to the injuries currently hampeing them, Bolton can be expected to come out firing and take advantage. However, Wenger has always been a firm believer in giving an opportunity to those youngsters showing talent, and this could prove to be a game where the 'nearly there’s' are finally given their chance to shine. Arsenal should still win this match, but not as comfortably as many are predicting.
