ARSENAL VS TOTTENHAM STARTING LINEUPS FOR THE CARLING CUP

We’re just a short period away from kick-off in the most anticipated fixture from Tuesday’s Carling Cup action. It is interesting to see Arsenal listing a side that doesn’t have an average age of 13 for a Carling Cup side. Rosicky, Nasri and Wilshere et al. aren’t exactly who were expecting to see but you reckon that just makes it a bit more of a match. The atmosphere should be incredible and both sides will desperately want the victory.  
Another variable for tonight’s fixture is Arsene Wenger sitting out the match to serve a ban he picked up in their last fixture.

Popular bookmaker William Hill is offering up over 185 markets on this one and it really looks like they are favouring Spurs. Both sides are trading at 13/8 outright prices to win in 90 minutes but Tottenham are getting a 4/6 edge over 11/10 Arsenal in the outright qualification market. This last bet includes extra time or penalties.
The favoured correct score draw is a 1-1 result with a 13/2 price tag and one of the things that stands out is the fact that all the correct scorelines are priced identically for this one. A 1-0 result is listed at 10/1 with 2-0 at 14/1. A 2-1 result either way is trading at 17/2 and 3-0 trades at 25/1. A 2-2 draw would be quite plausible and you can back that at a 12/1 price.
The over/under on goals is set at 2.5 and the over is getting the edge with a 6/10 price while under 2.5 is trading at 5/4. Over 3.5 goals is listed at 13/8 while under 3.5 trades at 4/9.
This match could very well wind up 0-0 at half-time, so this is a fixture that could be more defined by the substitutions than the starting lineups.
