Ashes: England braced for another Ashes classic
Ashes: England braced for another Ashes classicEngland are 9/4 withVC Bet to win this summer's pulsating Ashes series on the eve of the fourth Test at Trent Bridge. Cricket fans have been treated to dramatic, nailbiting finishes at Edgbaston and Old Trafford so far and VC Bet's Nick Blezard believes that the Nottingham match could be just as close. "When all's said and done there's not a great deal between the two teams and I really wouldn't like to say who will come out on top at Trent Bridge because I think the two sides are so close in most departments," said VC Bet's Nick Blezard. That said, England are 11/4 to win the match with Australia a significantly shorter 5/4 and the draw is quoted at 8/5. England look set to field an unchanged side for the fourth Test in a row. Aussie Paceman Shaun Tait will make his Test debut for Australia in favour of Jason Gillespie. With just two matches remaining Australia will retain the Ashes if they win at either Trent Bridge or the final Test at the Oval. Blezard added: "If England can get a decent start on Thursday they will fancy their chances. The opening two sessions will be crucial. "They have had the Aussies on the rack twice in a row now and are more than capable of winnning the Ashes," added Blezard.
