ASTON VILLA VS MANCHESTER CITY BETTING TIPS
The final Premiership fixture until next week kicks off today with high-flying Manchester City taking on Aston Villa in Birmingham. William Hill has listed City as the slim favourites with a 6/4 price against Aston Villa's 9/5. The draw pays out at 11/5, but I definitely fancy some goals here and I don't see the draw happening unless one of the teams manages to snatch a late one, but it will be a 2-2 type of draw in lieu of a 0-0 type of draw if you get my meaning. William Hill's OPTA sportsdata points out the very interesting tidbit that Gabriel Agbonlahor nabbed a hat-trick in last year's fixture and has scored in his last five matches in all competitions- truly an in-form striker. The correct score odds are interesting and you're looking at 17/2 for a 2-1 margin to City and 8/1 for a 2-1 margin to Villa. Martin O'Neill's side to win both halves pays out at 16/5 while Draw/Villa pays 9/2. City to win both halves is 19/5. Draw/City pays 5/1. Emmanuel Adebayor is the favoured goalscorer in the match with 5/1 first or last and 5/4 anytime. He is 33/1 to hit a hat-trick. Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy are the co-2nd favourites for Villa at 6/1 first or last and 7/4 anytime. Gabriel Agbonlahor is 6/1 first or last and 7/4 anytime. He is 40/1 to notch a hat-trcik while John Carew and Emile Heskey are at 2/1 and 11/4 anytime. Ashley Young is listed at 10/1 to score first or last and 7/2 to score anytime. I think this could really be a match of two halves. I think City could dominate the opening frame and Villa pour it on in the 2nd. My scorecast tip is Emmanuel Adebayor to score first and Aston Villa to win 2-1 @ 60/1.
