ATP CINCINNATI BETTING NADAL BIDS FOR QUARTERS, MURRAY VS GULBIS LIVE BETTING

As I write, Murray is in a spot of trouble, down a set to Ernests Gulbis, and trying to erase the Latvian's advantage by levelling the match. Live Betting action is in full swing as Murray hopes to avoid an untimely exit in Cincy.
Murray ended a 10-month title drought at the weekend beating Nadal and Federer successively to claim the Rogers Cup title, his second consecutive title in Canada.
On the back of that win, Murray retained his World No.4 ranking and saw his value in US Open markets soar.
Was this move premature? Did bookies jump the gun where Murray‘s odds on the US Open are concerned?
Should Murray slip up at the Cincinnati Masters what implication, if at all, would upsetting him have on the US Open forecast?
Following the intriguing match between Gulbis and Murray, Nadal is scheduled to take to court for his third round encounter against Julien Benneteau.
Paddy power has Nadal listed as an outrageous favourite at 1/33 while Benneteau is a 9/1 underdog.
The current market, paving the way to the match and Live Betting action, is entirely one-sided and at face value discouraging of all things Benneteau.
Yet the Frenchman isn’t entirely without a shot. He is a savvy veteran. An accomplished doubles and singles player. Tennis purists appreciate his old school style to the game, the serve-and-volley.
Benneteau has a win over Federer in the 2009 season and he very nearly took out Djokovic in Toronto last week, except for some inconsiderate nerves midway through the match, and his opposite himself, crashing his party on court.
Nadal got off to a slow start against Taylor Dent yesterday. Seemed a bit grumpy on court, if I do say so myself. Hopefully, he’s sorted whatever was bothering him because he will need all his wits about him to handle Benneteau’s bag of tricks.
I do believe the Spaniard will survive and advance comfortably (by that, I mean in straight sets).  Unlike Federer and Djokovic (to some extent) that are in the throes of an existential crisis, Nadal is high on confidence.  As such, I don’t expect he would lose the match. If Benneteau is to advance over Nadal, he will have to WIN the match, literally wrestle it from Rafa’s brawny  grip.
