ATP CINCINNATI MASTERS LIVE BETTING NADAL AND MURRAY IN EARLY ROUND ACTION

The second Masters in as many weeks is underway in Cincinnati. All the top players, including World No.1 Rafael Nadal and No.4 Andy Murray, have descended on Cincy for what will be their last warm-up event for the US Open.
Nadal, the top seed, is gunning for a record 19th career Masters title. He begins his bid this afternoon against American Taylor Dent.
Last week, Nadal lost to Andy Murray in the Rogers Cup semi-final round. Murray went on to cap the week in Toronto by successfully defending his title against Roger Federer in the final.
A lot of hype and pomp precedes both Nadal and Murray. Nadal, who is aiming to chart history at this level, has never reached the final round of this event. To date his best result is a semi appearance, which he accomplished in back-to-back seasons, 2008 and 2009.
Naturally, the world No.1 is the favourite to win outright and advance into the third round. How favoured is he? He is a whopping 1/20 bet at William Hill. By contrast, Dent is a long shot bet at 8/1. Under such odds, a win by the American would be a huge upset. In a word, a shocker.
There is nothing on his resume to suggest a happenstance as such is on the horizon. Should be straightforward for the Spaniard.
Nadal takes a 1-0 edge over Dent into their clash, having beaten the American at the Miami Masters earlier this season. He has outstanding form to underscore his odds as well.
True, he was a tad rusty last week, but which top player wasn’t? For most, except Murray, it was their first tournament since Wimbledon and while they faced some stiff opposition, they all reached the semi-final round, which just goes to show how tough they are to beat. By now, Nadal should be match fit and raring to go.
Live Betting on this match is set to get underway once the Djokovic vs. Troicki clash wraps up, which looks to be very soon.
Andy Murray follows Nadal on court for his clash against Jeremy Chardy. The Frenchman proved to be the surprise package last week, going on a giant-killing spree to reach the quarterfinal round. The casualties left in his wake included Fernando Verdasco and Nikolay Davydenko.
Chardy is listed as a tempting 6/1 puppy, but, at the same time, Murray is a solid 1/12 favourite to win outright.
Might Chardy have another standout week?
Murray is a tough customer to draw and he’s just been buoyed by his Rogers Cup win. It really doesn’t seem likely.
Djokovic dismantled Chardy rather easily at the Rogers Cup, as did Murray last year.  Against top-five opposition, Chardy hasn’t had any success; instead, he goes away rather meekly and easily.
