AT&T PEBBLE BEACH BETTING TIPS
Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh and Padraig Harrington again lead the betting action heading into this weekend's AT&T Pebble Beach event. A number of different markets are available for this tournament, one of the last before the expected return of Tiger Woods. Needless to say, a number of top players will be looking to make a big statement here going into the rest of the season. With the masters only a few short months down the line, things are going to be heating up, in lieu of cooling down. Phil Mickelson can be backed at 12/1 to finish first while Harrington and Singh both weigh in at 18/1. Jim Furyk and Canadian Mike Weir both sit at 18/1 which is really quite enticing. Mike Weir especially is due for a win and he has a solid track record at Pebble Beach. David Toms and Kenny Perry are alongside Tim Clark and Davis Love III all listed at 22/1. K.J. Choi and Hunter Magan sit at 28/1 while Retief Goosen and Matthew Goggin are both listed at 33/1 and 35/1 respectively. One of the best things about outright betting is that you can place an each-way bet for a player to finish in the top 6 at ¼ of the odds. So if you see somebody in the 100/1 or 80/1 range you are looking at some serious coin just for finishing top 6. And at Pebble Beach we all know it's anybody's game! One longshot to keep yours eyes on is Notah Begay III who is listed at 500/1. 125/1 for a top six on him? That's worth a punt in my opinion, even just a buck or two. A massive field is contesting this one and you can also wager on top 10 finishes, top Aussie and NZ players, top Rest of World Players, Tournament Match Betting, and Top European player. A Special bets market is also available where you can back hole in one's, and players to score a hole in one. There are a couple really choice ace holes at Pebble so we are bound to see one this weekend.
