AUSTRALIAN GP FORMULA ONE BETTING TIPS
As we head into the opening fixture of the 2009 Formula One racing season, the punters have Jenson Button sitting in the driver's seat in terms of outright betting for the Australian Grand Prix. There is plenty of value to be had here with several different top drivers all listed at extremely attractive prices. I expect a lot of these to fluctuate significantly over the next few days and once we get a better idea of lap-times and positioning for the race, we should see things start to solidify a bit. I suggest you get in while the getting's good if you're looking to back any of Jenson Button, Felipe Massa, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso. Currently, you're looking at odds of 5.5 to back Jenson Button who is the outright favourite. Kimi Raikkonen sits just behind at 6.0 with Fernando Alonso a hairline away at 6.2. Felipe Massa is listed at 7.6 while Britain's Lewis Hamilton is available at 10.5.If you're still not 100% on who's going to win outright, you can basically back drivers to finish each-way by getting in on Betfair's Podium Finish Market. Jenson Button is available at better than evens with odds of 2.06. Raikkonen is at 2.3 and Alonso sits at 2.34. Felipe Massa is at 2.76 with Rubens Barrichello at 3.05. Lewis Hamilton can be backed at 3.55. After these drivers, the odds lengthen considerably up towards 7, 8 and into the double digits. Kimi Raikkonen is backed to finish with the fastest lap with odds of 4.6. Jenson Button can be backed at 5.0 while Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso are both at an even 6.0.
