Bad boy Bellamy gets hammered?

Following the arrival of striker Fernando Torres at Liverpool and the likely imminent transfer of West Ham's Carlos Tevez to Manchester United, the 2/1 with Skybet about Craig Bellamy moving to West Ham United by the start of next season is looking very appealing. Liverpool broke their transfer record to the tune of £26.5m to lure Torres to the Premiership and with both Dirk Kuyt and Peter Crouch ahead of Bellamy in the pecking order and Reds boss Rafa Benitez non-plussed by the controversial former Newcastle man's antics last season - which famously included attacking team-mate John Arne Riise with a golf club, it looks as though Bellamy's Anfield adventure is over. Carlos Tevez looks certain to be playing for Manchester United next season which, apart from strengthening the champions' hand for next season, will leave a huge void in West Ham's front line. The Hammers, who have agreed to sell Nigel Reo-Coker to Aston Villa, need reinforcements and quickly if they are to avoid a repeat of last term's flirtation with relegation and so are 2/1 to move for Bellamy with Skybet. Former club Blackburn Rovers are also in the running to re-sign the 27-year-old at 3/1 while the Welshman is 5/1 to stay put. West Ham would certainly have gone down last season were it not for their inspirational Argentinian - and indeed a sympathetic Premier League - and with no new recruits as yet on board it might also be worth looking at Stan James's 10/1 on West Ham to go down next season. Eggert Magnusson's millions won't do the club any good if they can't replace quality with quality. Specials: 2/1 Bellamy to start next season at West Ham (Skybet) 10/1 West ham to be relegated (Stan James) Liverpool's top Premiership goalscorer next season: Evens F Torres, 5-2 D Kuyt, 3 P Crouch, 16 S Gerrard
