BENFICA VS LIVERPOOL EUROPA LEAGUE BETTING TIPS

The Portuguese side are favoured by the bookmakers for this exciting Europa League clash. The Reds do have the advantage of taking things back to Anfield for the all-important second leg, but you may want to have a bash on them at least getting the draw, or pipping the away goal via a bet on the correct score market.
Currently, popular Irish bookmaker Paddy Power have listed Benfica as the 11/8 favourite ahead of Liverpool’s 15/8 price tag. The draw is available at 11/5 while Liverpool still pay out above even money (11/10) on a draw no bet.
Rafa Benitez’s side remain favourite to win the tie outright though, and you can back them at 4/7 to get the job done over the two legs. Benfica are there-or-thereabouts at 5/4 and certainly in with a shout.
If you think that Liverpool may actually run away with this one and get a proper result here, heaping the pressure on Benfica for the return leg, try backing Liverpool on the handicap market (-1.0) at a very tidy 6/1 price. If you think that Liverpool may end the tie here and notch a victory by at least three away goals, back Steven Gerrard & Co at (-2.0) at a massive 20/1. That’s a nice option for Liverpool fans who think their team are due for a big performance.
Looking at the correct score market, the favoured outcome is a 1-1 draw, which trades at 5/1. Benfica 1-0 is a solid 6/1 while Liverpool 1-0 pays just above that at 13/2. If Liverpool are going to put up a big total, try them at 3-1 with a 25/1 price. If you think this is going to be a high-scoring affair in any direction you’re looking at very solid odds. Benfica 4-2 pays a massive 100/1 while Liverpool by the same margin is even bigger at 125/1 for a 4-2 win. You have to check it out for yourself at Paddy Power, but there are some really solid odds on a high-scoring match.
I think Liverpool may hold out for this one and give Benfica a tougher time than they thought. The draw looks a solid outcome, while I think they are great value to get at least one away goal.
