BETFAIR SCOTTISH GRAND NATIONAL BETTING TIPS

We've got twenty-one very solid horses contesting the 2009 Scottish Grand National this Saturday at Ayr racecourse. We've seen a lot of movement in both directions as the ante-post market has matured over the past week, but Chief Dan George continues to hold onto the favourite's position. Currently listed at 9.0, we have also seen some movement from Tricky Trickster (a horse I've had my eye on before his Cheltenham victory) and at 9.4 I think he's a solid bet, even though I would appreciate a bit more value on him. Nine De Sivola comes in at 10.0 with the much-vaunted West End Rocker sitting at 12.5. In terms of the longer-odds selections, I like According to John, but 22.0 might be a bit short. He's one for the insurebet here, as I can definitely see him pulling a top 4 finish, but the win might be a bit beyond him up against the quality available in this race. Arteea is a competent runner, but I think he's not weighted quite as well as he could be for this one. Gone to Lunch isn't a bad bet and he's set to have Tony McCoy riding on top and that could really make the difference against this field. At 14.0 there's still plenty of value there and keep in mind he was on a three-win streak (with victories over some solid competitors) until he was pulled up in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham. Many people are piling onto Chief Dan George and I think he's a quality horse with a good record coming into the one, my only concern is that the quality of horses he's been competing against aren't as high as Tricky Trickster from the Twiston-Davies camp. West End Rocker is likely a show bet, I don't see much happening for him without a mistake from the top 2. Nine De Sivola hasn't won in years and was beaten by Tricky Trickster in the RSA Chase and normally wouldn't be a bad each-way shot, but his odds aren't long enough for my likings. RECOMMENDATION1. Tricky Trickster2. Chief Dan George3. Nine De Sivola4. According to John5. Hello Bud
