BIG BROTHER 11 LATEST ODDS AND BETTING TIPS
With the new line-up on the 2010 Big Brother edition finally being revealed today, we know that means that the new betting odds are going to be available as well. Things will likely take a little while to settle down, but everybody knows that the key to successful reality TV betting is usually being able to spot the winner before anybody else does- ensuring that you lock in long-shot odds that you can use to hedge smaller bets for the rest of the season.
Odds are currently out on a few of the outright winners with Steve being considered the early favourite to win Big Brother 11. You’ll find him trading on Paddy Power at a 5/1 price, but the layers on Betfair have him trading at a very solid 8.6 price. The volume is coming in pretty quickly so expect some wild swings over the next little while.
John James has just been declared a top candidate with a price of 6/1 with Paddy Power and a 7.8 listing on Betfair.
Nathan is considered to be a popular bet at this point and you’ll find him available at 8/1 with the Irish bookmaker and a juicy 11.0 on the Betfair exchange. At this early stage in the Big Brother betting, it looks like this one could be a battle between the male residents of the house.
Josie is currently the shortest-priced female with a 16/1 price on Paddy Power and odds of 21.0 on Betfair. That’s a quality price.
Caoimhe is listed at a 16/1 price on Paddy Power and 18.5 on Betfair. That is one of the smallest variances in the competition at this point between the fixed odds and the open market. Definitely one to keep your eye on.
Govan looks a contender with a 10/1 price on Paddy Power and a Betfair listing of 11.0. Again, a very small variance between fixed odds and exchange betting so take from that what you will.
Ife trades at 14/1 with Paddy Power and she's listed at 18.5, currently, with Betfair. Shabey is 25/1 on Paddy Power and 34.0 with Betfair.
Corin is sitting at a 20/1 price with Paddy Power and a slightly lower 20.0 price with Betfair.
Dave is another decent contender whose price could trend sharply downwards over the next few weeks. You’ll find him available at an 18/1 price tag and, if you ask me, that’s a pretty decent bet if you aren’t particularly enamoured with the two favoured males contestants. The Betfair price for Dave is 27.0.
Speaking of male contestants, Ben is trading at 25/1 with Paddy Power and a very enticing 30.0 on Betfair. While the odds are good, I think a price that high indicates that layers don’t see him going the distance. Remember that last year’s winner Sophie traded as high as 33/1 at one point though.
Sunshine is trading at a 25/1 price with Paddy Power and a 28.0 listing on Betfair.
Currently, the only other housemate with odds available is Rachael at 33/1 with Paddy Power and a 40.0 listing on Betfair.
